CHROMA-7™
One-Step Lightening & Coloring Powder

For off scalp highlighting effects

1. For every leveled scoop (about 1/2 oz or 14 grams) of Chroma-7 Hair Lightening & Coloring Powder, add 1 oz. of Lights & Shades Choma-7 Pure Cream Developer. Use Chroma-7 40-volume developer for brightness and high lift, 20-volume developer for soft or subtle shades.
2. Mix very well in a plastic bowl with a brush to a creamy consistency and apply to dry or slightly damp hair using any off-the-scalp technique.
3. Cover hair with a vented plastic cap. (Not needed with foils), and process 10-25 minutes under dryer on medium heat. (Darker, thicker hair may need longer processing time).
4. Allow hair to cool. Rinse well and shampoo with Lights & Shades High Radiance Shampoo for color-treated hair.

IMPORTANT TIPS FOR ACHIEVING VIVID COLORS WITH CHROMA-7

It is highly recommended to clarify the hair before color to remove residues and metals that will interfere with the color process. An application of Get Pure Hair Clarifying treatment will insure the success of color. Get Pure may be used prior to any chemical service. Please follow closely the following tips:

   1.  Apply color generously to the hair so that it remains moist during procesing.

   2.  Use only off-scalp methods. Always process under hrat. Dryer temperature should be set to "medium". Avoid hot dryers as   

         thet may affect the color negatively, as do cool dryers.

   3.  Light hair may process in as little as 10 minutes. Dark, tinted or coarse hair may require more than 25 minutes of

        processing. Check the progress of color frequently.

   4.  In a few cases with heavily tinted hair, the lift may not reach the desired level and the color may not be as bright. In such

        case a generous application of Re-Vibe Color Refresher at the end of the application will increase the vividness f the color.

   5.  Blue color is the most challenging shade to develop because of the strong interference of the orange base of the natural

        hair pigment, which tends to neutralize blue to a greenish blue. In order to achieve a bright blue, the lift should be

        maximized by following the steps above. Keep in mind that Re-Vibe Color Refresher is always a sure and safe tool to

        enhance the intensity of any color.

Because of the unique nature of the patented dyes used in Chroma-7, it is absolutely necessary to use Chroma-7 Pure Cream Developer with all Chroma-7 shades. Mix in a ratio of one ounce (30 ml) Chroma-7 Pure Cream Developer for every scoop (about 1/2 oz or 14 grams) of Chroma-7 One Step Lightening & Coloring Powder. Mix very well. Apply using any off-the-scalp coloring techniques. Use 40 Volume Developer for high lift effects. 20 Volume Developer is excellent for low lift, subtle highlighting.
